DAN BATTLES

Dan was born in the boot heel of Missouri before eventually winding up in the Greater St. Louis Area.
He spent three years in the U.S. Army and completed two tours of duty in Vietnam.
After his stint in the Army, Dan attended Southwest Missouri State University in Spingfield , Missouri.
Relocating to the Brunswick area, he reunited with Brenda Chappell, a friend from grade school and high school in Illinois, and they married the same year. Between the two of them, they have six children, seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Dan loves to dive and was once store manager for Ascuba Venture dive center in Corpus Christi, TX. He also has a passion for music and says that music is in his blood. He plays and sings at home often and sometimes for the public or events. He has a mini recording studio in his man cave and spends more than a few hours playing and singing each day.
Dan states he is, "happy to be involved with the Seafarers Center, first as a volunteer and now as store manager." Welcome aboard, Dan!
