Christmas-AT-SEA

                                                                              Live Local, Reach Nations
The International Seafarers’ Center (ISC) was established in 1982 as a 501(C)(3) non-profit Christian organization.         clear plastic shoeboxes, ditty-bags, and related items contributed to the Christmas-at-Sea program are tax deductible.

Christmas-at-Sea

Time to begin stuffing those ditty bags and plastic shoe boxes for our Christmas at Sea program. Beginning the day after Thanksgiving and running through Orthodox Christmas (January 14th), each seafarer who visits the Port of Brunswick will receive a gift bag or box brimming with treats and gifts that are sure to bring a smile to his/her face. For many, this may be the only gift they receive this Christmas.  These gift bags and boxes are a great way to bring a little cheer to our seafaring friends and spread the love of God around the world!
There are several ways to participate in our Christmas-at-Sea program:
  1. Assemble Christmas gifts, in either cloth ditty bags or unwrapped plastic shoeboxes and deliver them to the International Seafarers’ Center from October through December. (Please note: NO CARDBOARD BOXES!! We can provide the plastic boxes and/or bags for you to fill, if needed.)
  2. Collect items (see list of suggested items) and bring them to the Seafarers’ Center. Our wonderful volunteers and friends will pack them into the bags/boxes.
  3. Individuals or groups can come to the Seafarers’ Center and help stuff bags/boxes here at our  distribution center.
  4. Donate funds to help us purchase items to place in    gift bags/boxes.
