LINDA SANDERS

After a long career in public education, Linda retired as a school counselor in 2017 to move from East Tennessee to St. Simons Island to join her husband who had begun a new career in the Golden Isles. They have two grown children and a rescue dog named Jax. Linda began volunteering for the International Seafarers' Center in 2018. She joined the staff as the store manager in August, 2021. She feels that her role in keeping the store stocked with items that will make the seafarers' lives easier is important. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, cooking, and refurbishing antique furniture.
